Today we left Katherine to start the move south. We stopped off at Mataranka for a quick dip at ‘Bitter Springs’, a different part of the springs than I had been to before. It was lovely and warm and the kids were quite keen to stay there for the rest of the day!
Unfortunately for them, we had to keep moving south. We are passing the northern migration of caravans. Most caravanners will wave to you when you pass which is nice. I am waving so often my hand is starting to get sore!
We have stopped at Banga Banga station just north of Tennent Creek. A lovely spot with lots of other ‘overnighters’. It has two horses which the kids all fed:
And we were all in the right spot to look at the lunar eclipse too!
